Terms and Conditions 2024 & 2025

Please be aware of the following:

Adjustment of number

    • It is possible to adjust the number of covers (+/-15%) up to 5 days before the event.
    • Contact us as soon as possible, if you wish to add more covers.

Minimum order

    • Amount: Min. 1,250.- incl. VAT (food and transport).
    • Number of covers:
      • Brunch and other buffets: Min. 20 covers
      • Receptions: Min. 30 covers
      • Dinners: Min. 15 covers
        (Lower numbers are possible for an additional charge.)
      • Individually plated lunches have no minimum, but are subject to the minimum amount limit.

Plating

    • The food is plated on porcelain, stoneware, silver platters or in small glasses.
    • If takeaway packaging is desired, this can be arranged further.

Meeting catering

    • Our meeting catering is delivered ready to serve on a buffet or the meeting table.
    • Warm dishes are delivered warm and we bring buffet warmers for this.
    • Menu cards for the buffet are included.
    • If you wish to avoid dishwashing, we can help – contact us for details.

Receptions

    • Finger food: Bite-size dishes enjoyed standing.
    • Buffet:
      • We can set up a beautiful buffet with stands at different levels.
      • Warm dishes are delivered warm and we bring buffet warmers for this.
      • Small napkins and menu cards for the buffet are included.
      • For an exclusive look, we recommend flowers and tablecloths as optional extras.
    • Waiter service:
      • Dishes are delivered on beautiful platters, ready to be served by waiters.
      • Small napkins and menu cards for waiters are included.
      • We recommend adding a chef for final plating on site for a more exclusive level.
      • Ask us about our high end level

Dinners

    • With chef:
      • The food is plated on your plates or on rented plates.
      • The chef brings all necessary tools for preparation and plating.
      • The kitchen is left clean (excluding the floor), and the chef takes everything back.
    • Without chef:
      • The food is delivered in takeaway packaging with instructions for heating and plating.

Allergies and diets

    • Surcharge of 15%-25% for special requests/allergy-friendly menus.
    • We also offer tailored menus adapted to your event.

Delivery and pickup



    • Delivery:
      • Transport in specially equipped refrigerated vans and specially designed boxes.
      • Boxes for return service are delivered and must be stacked upon collection.
      • Inform us about access conditions (stairs, elevator, codes etc.) when ordering.
      • Additional transport fees may apply in case of difficult access conditions.
      • Rental service can in some cases be delivered the day before the event.
    • Pickup:
      • Return service is picked up on the next business day, unless otherwise agreed.
      • The chef takes most items back the same day, if possible.

Sustainability and recycling

    • Electricity: 100% from wind energy.
    • Transport: AdBlue-powered vans.
    • Packaging: Eco-friendly takeaway (palm leaves, cardboard, bamboo & wooden cutlery/boats).
    • Ingredients: focus on local and organic ingredients.
    • Waste management: 12 recycling processes and organic waste.
    • Kitchen and office: Eco-friendly cleaning, paperless workflows and digitalisation.

We continuously work to improve sustainability, including by exploring the reuse of textiles for uniforms and paper.

Staffing services

(Only with food orders)

    • Prices (incl. VAT):
      • Waiter: 2,525.- for 5 hours (505.- per extra hour).
      • Head waiter: 2,700.- for 5 hours (540.- per extra hour).
      • Chef: 2,600.- for 4 hours (525.- per extra hour).
      • Runner/dishwasher: 2,525.- for 5 hours (505.- per extra hour).

50% surcharge after 9 hours and after 24.00.

    • Our team: Well-groomed in black/white uniforms, bringing their own tools.

We follow the collective agreement between D1 and 3F. At Gourmet Catering.

Cancellation and changes

At Gourmet Catering, we fully understand that it may be necessary to change dates and other practical details regarding an event.

    • Cancellation fees:
      • < 6 weeks before: 10%
      • < 14 days before: 30%
      • < 8 days before: 70%
      • < 3 days before: 90%
      • < 1 day before: 100%

Cancellation must be made in writing by email.
Small changes to the number of covers (+/-15%) can be made up to 5 business days before.

Ingredient substitution

Unfortunately, it may occur that an ingredient, against expectations, cannot be sourced. We will of course inform you of this before the event and replace the ingredient with another of the same value and quality.

Prices and payment

    • Price adjustment: Annual adjustment of approx. 3% at the turn of the year.
    • Payment: Invoice is sent with 8 days net. Possible payment methods:
      • Bank transfer
      • SWIFT
      • MobilePay
      • Payment slip
    • Prepayment or deposit may be charged as needed.
